What this site sets
Browsing this site as a visitor sets no cookies at all. Cookies occur only in two limited circumstances:
- WordPress session and security cookies. Set only for administrators who sign in to the site’s content management system. They keep that session authenticated and protect form submissions against cross-site request forgery. They are never set for ordinary visitors.
- Network security cookies. The site is delivered through a content-delivery and security network, which may set a short-lived cookie such as
__cf_bmto distinguish automated traffic from human visitors. That is a security measure rather than tracking, and no such cookie was observed on this site’s pages at the time of writing.
What this site does not set
No advertising cookies, no analytics or measurement cookies, no social-media cookies, and no third-party tracking or profiling cookies of any kind. We do not build visitor profiles and we do not share browsing data with advertisers.
Why there is no consent banner
Under the ePrivacy Directive and its Belgian implementation, consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary for a service the user has requested. Because this site sets no such cookies, no consent banner is required.
